We wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who supported the Super Herber Bros Foundation in 2020. We weren’t quite sure what to expect navigating our first “official” year as a non profit during a pandemic, but needless to say, we have been beyond thrilled by the ongoing support during such a unique year.

Thanks to your generous donations and support, below are a few of the highlights of what we were able to accomplish together in 2020.

+ Participated and donated to the Go For The Gold 5K run hosted by

Brighter Tomorrows

which is a wonderful organization that supports childhood cancer families.

+ Supported participating bikers as well as donated directly to the

Great Cycle Challenge USA

of which proceeds went to

Children’s Cancer Research Fund

.

+ Purchased pizza and drinks for the wonderful staff at the

Mayo Clinic Children’s Center

and

Mayo Eugenia Litta Children’s Hospital

including the Pediatric Intensive Care and ECMO units.

+ Hosted a head shaving event as well as donated directly to

St. Baldrick’s Foundation

which is one of the leading supporters of childhood cancer research

+ Donated to the 4th Annual Bags of Love Drive at

Children’s Minnesota

Children’s Hospital.

+ Donated to the

Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota

for epilepsy education and management for MN schools.

+ Donated to

Childhood Cancer Community

for programs designed for children and their families who have been affected by childhood cancer.

+ Donated to

Warrior Wagons, INC.

to purchase wagons filled with hospital supplies for children and their families affected by childhood cancer.

+ Donated directly to the

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Children’s Initiative and was able to make their honor roll of donors for the second consecutive year.

+ Donated to the Team One Four Fund spearheaded by Casey O’Brien at the

University of Minnesota Twin Cities

for osteosarcoma research

+ Donated to

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

+ Donated to

Food Allergy Research & Education

Foundation

+ Donated to the Bravery Box Project spearheaded by the Pediatric Cancer Outreach Crew which is a newly formed student organization at

Gustavus Adolphus College

+ Donated to

CaringBridge

so that families can continue to tell the story of their warriors free of charge.

+ Sponsored a blood drive challenge at

Blood Donor Program – Mayo Clinic

during the month of September

+ Worked with Ryan Pena on videos to help tell the many stories of the Super Herber Bros

+ Supported families with children battling complex medical conditions at

Mayo Eugenia Litta Children’s Hospital

and elsewhere as well as contributed to memorials of children we unfortunately lost in 2020.
