CHILDHOOD CANCER
Our goals are to educate, empower, support, and improve the lives of individuals and families of children with epilepsy, food allergies, and childhood cancer.
NATHAN’S STORY
Nathan is 8 years old and a twin brother to Justin. He was diagnosed with Stage 4 T Cell Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma at age 4 just two weeks after having a birthday breakfast with Mickey Mouse at the Magic Kingdom. Nathan has completed a complex 2.5 years of chemotherapy including overcoming numerous life threatening complications. He completed treatment on March 25th, 2021 and has been in remission for 18+ months. Did you know that 1 in 285 kids are diagnosed with childhood cancer at some point by age 18. Also, were you aware that with all the money we spend on cancer research, only 4% goes to childhood cancer. Nathan’s journey is well outlined in his Caring Bridge site as well as Mayo Clinic articles and local news stories found on this page. After reading and watching, if you have additional questions our resident expert Nathan would be happy to answer.
