We are the Herber family, and we’re no strangers to the medical world. Dad, Andy, works as a Physician Assistant in Hospital Medicine at Mayo Clinic, and Mom, Becky, is Master’s-level trained in Psychology—and a superstar medical mom. Each of our three sons has been diagnosed with complex medical challenges, including epilepsy, precocious puberty, childhood cancer, and anaphylactic food allergies. We’ve been riding this roller coaster for years, inspired every day by the resilience of our boys and by the many families we’ve met who are traveling similar paths. Through all the ups and downs, video games have remained a constant source of joy for our children—no matter the circumstance. That joy sparked an idea, which grew into the Super Herber Bros Foundation. Our mission is simple: to give back by supporting children and families facing medical adversity, just like ours. Together, we hope to bring moments of fun, connection, and hope to those who need them most.
